Chapter II · Why TradeWise
TradeWise Systems began with a simple question: what if the best habits of patient, professional traders could be written down as rules, and then followed perfectly by technology?
The problem
Hot tips, overnight-millionaire stories and screens flashing red and green all compete for attention. Most traders don't struggle for lack of information. They struggle with discipline: chasing a move too late, freezing at the right moment, or moving a stop "just this once."
We believe the answer isn't a secret formula. It's a sound plan, followed consistently.
The navy eye · Wisdom
Each principle is written into the system as a rule, so it holds on good days and bad ones.
In the system: every strategy trades with the trend on its own timeframe: a weekly up-trend for the breakout bots, SPY's intraday trend for the intraday bots, and a scored up-trend for the ML AutoTrader.
In the system: a setup must confirm before any buy, whether that's a breakout that holds or a stock holding above VWAP with the chart pattern agreeing.
In the system: every filled position gets a protective stop order held at the broker.
In the system: a fixed dollar size per trade, with firm limits on open positions and new entries each day.
In the system: signals carrying too many risk flags, such as a weak market or a late-stage trend, are skipped.
The green eye · Technology
We use AI, machine learning and automation to research, test and build our trading systems. Once a rule is set, the machine's job is simple: follow it exactly, at every bar, and keep a record of everything.
Today that means nine bots across three strategies, from our original machine-learning Wise-Trader to the breakout and intraday bots. Tomorrow it means a growing team of trading bots, each one tested, measured and held to its own record.
It reviews thousands of stocks every night and checks its watchlist at every bar close.
No fear, no greed, no second-guessing. A rule either passes or it doesn't.
Every buy, sell, fill and rejection is written to a journal we can review and learn from.
The crossing · Our name
Our name is the moment two paths cross. The owl watches with patience; that's the wisdom. Its W is built from rising chart bars; that's the work of the machine. Navy on one side, green on the other, meeting in the middle.
We have learned from legends. We follow a way of trading: patient, disciplined and honest about risk.
Our mission
To trade wisely, with patience, discipline and respect for risk, and to build the AI trading bots that hold us to it.
The people behind the owl
"With TradeWise Systems you can manage your trades instead of trying to find them."

Partners and affiliates
We build in the open, and we test with people who trade for a living.

Starting November 2, 2026, Andrew Keene of AlphaShark will trade the TradeWise bots in a live account for four to six weeks, putting the system in front of a professional trader and his audience.

Peakbot runs the Discord community where every TradeWise fill is posted, and is the source of the WiseTrader studies our breakout bots were built from.
peakbot.com →TradeStation is the broker behind the breakout and intraday bots. It streams the price data, executes every order and holds every protective stop, in both the simulated and the live accounts.
tradestation.com →Partners trade their own accounts and make their own decisions. Nothing here is an endorsement of results, TradeWise Systems is not affiliated with TradeStation, and we do not manage money for anyone.
